I am a 4th-year PhD candidate in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Texas at San Antonio. I specialize in mid-infrared (MIR) astrophysics, focused on the study of the dusty environments surrounding supermassive black holes in active galaxies. I am also a Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) Summer 2022 fellow, an active duty United States Army veteran, a veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom, and a loving husband.
